Remembering Gettysburg

This week marks the 150th anniversary of the Battle of Gettysburg, the bloodiest conflict ever on American soil. In three days of fighting -- July 1-3, 1863 -- between 46,000 and 51,000 soldiers from the Union and Confederate armies became casualties of the Civil War. Strategically, it was a battle that turned the tide of war.
