In any event, the Washington Times' Charles Hurt writes on Monday's sale of theWashington Post:
This week’s shocking fire sale of the once-vaunted Washington Post to a home-shopping magnate was another inglorious jolt reminding us that newspapers have committed themselves to a slow and painful suicide.
For the uninitiated, the Washington Times is also a newspaper.
