He's About to Pull Off a 'Brilliant' Trick to Earn a New Year's Kiss

"That was so smooth."

Internet prankster Stuart Edge employed a creative method to obtain a New Year's kiss last night in New York City's Times Square — and it worked.

"I've decided to do a bit of card counting magic to see if I can find my New Year's kiss," Edge says at the outset of the video.

The YouTube star then bets a series of women that he would be able to memorize the positions of the 52 cards in a deck and tell them a story with them, all after the ladies had shuffled the cards to the best of their ability.

Of course, despite the best shuffling of all the women, Edge was able to assemble a story with the cards in the deck and impress each of the ladies, ultimately earning him a few New Year's kisses.

It appeared individuals watching the trick on YouTube were also impressed.

"Brilliant," commented one person.

"That was so smooth," wrote another.

At the time of publication, the video had just over 200k views on YouTube.
