When former State Secretary Hillary Clinton testified last year during a Congressional hearing on the Benghazi attack, one line made struck a chord with the conservative media: "What difference, at this point, does it make?"
She made the exclamation in answering what caused the attack that resulted in four dead Americans.
Bloomberg News highlights a bit in the new Clinton biography "HRC: State Secrets and the Rebirth of Hillary Clinton" with details behind the heated moment:
“What difference at this point does it make?” Clinton said in January 2013 when asked by a senator at a congressional hearing whether the deaths were officially the result of terrorism. The book says that Clinton’s longtime aide, Philippe Reines unwittingly inspired that line during a prep session.
