What a Way to Start Your Day: Camera Captures the Moment a FedEx Worker Discovers He Left His Van in Neutral…on a Hill
April 04, 2014
"S**t happens."
Fun fact: Gravity is real and it is constantly at work.
That’s what one unfortunate FedEx driver was forced to remember after he got out of a Dodge Sprinter van that he had apparently left in neutral. On an incline.
Unsurprisingly, and despite the driver’s best attempts to stop the van by brute force, the van responded to the laws of gravity and rolled away, nearly plowing into a home at the bottom of the hill.
Footage of the incident was captured on what appears to be a home security camera. The footage is dated April 3, 2014.
The video was first posted to Internet forum Reddit on Thursday by user Dsquared77.
“Lucky … only broke a door,” the Reddit user wrote. “It could have hit the tree, it could have hit THE OTHER tree, it could have hit the house. It did bunny hop a little. But really, it could have been A LOT worse. S**t happens. I just hope this guy doesn't loose [sic] his job over it.”
It’s unclear where the incident took place.
