'Real women want real men!' — Conservative females reveal 'What Women (Really) Want'

"The founders of this country weren't squishy-sized, mealy-mouthed, skinny jeans-wearing hipsters you see around today..."

Strong, conservative women were in the spotlight on the latest edition of TheBlaze Radio's "Pure Opelka."

Host Mike Opelka welcomed three conservative firebrands Ann-Marie Murrell, Dr. Gina Loudon and Morgan Brittany to discuss their new book, "What Women Really Want."  The authors are also the three women who lead the conservative activist group known as the PolitiChicks.

The book hits stores in two weeks, but the ladies sent a copy to TheBlaze, so we invited them to call into the radio show and share some insights into what conservative women want from men. The engaging conversation extended across two segments of the show.

The women shared thoughts on the Left's efforts to tag conservatives as waging a "war on women." (Spoiler alert: They could not find any real evidence of this alleged war.) According to their research, it is liberal, "radical feminism" that is not only "forcing women into choices they don't want," but hurting men in America, as well.

The animated conversation also delved into what the ladies believe men need to know about the women in their lives.

In the second segment, Mike asked each of his guests to give him just "one thing women really want men to know."

  • Murrell said that men should know that it's OK for men to compliment a woman on her looks, and act chivalrous.

  • Loudon seconded Murrell's thoughts and added, "The founders of this country weren't squishy-sized, mealy-mouthed, skinny jeans-wearing hipsters you see around today…they were real men." Loudon punctuated her mini-rant with the declaration, "Real women want real men!"

  • Morgan Brittany focused her thoughts in a very specific statement,  "Women want to be respected and honored."

The interview with the ladies of the PolitiChicks begins at the 9:00 point of the program.

Opelka also spoke with Pamela Geller about a special, pro-Israel event happening Sunday afternoon in New York City.

Geller is one of the speakers appearing at the American Freedom Defense Initiative's "Celebration of Life" rally to show support for Israel and any minority being persecuted under radical Islam.

The interview with Pamela Geller starts at 27:00 into the above audio clip from "Pure Opelka."
