Police arrested 32-year-old Jesse Leroy Matthew Jr. Wednesday, the suspect charged in the case of the missing University of Virginia student, WVIR-TV reported.
The arrest did not happen in Virginia, the outlet reported.

Matthew had been charged with abuduction with intent to defile.
Police have said they believe Matthew was the last person seen with 18-year-old Hannah Graham, who disappeared Sept. 13.

Police were looking for Matthew, who was last seen Saturday when he stopped by the police station to ask for a lawyer. Police say he sped away afterward, losing officers who had him under surveillance.
