Hopper.com, which analyzes data to help travelers decide where to fly and when to book, compared the top international destinations within each state to the national average. Among the findings: people in states border the Pacific Ocean travel more to Asian countries; the majority of Midwestern folks choose Mexico; and much of Appalachia and the Eastern Seaboard prefers to visit Latin America or the Caribbean Islands.
