Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) is in the holiday spirit — and perhaps dropping a big hint about 2016.
In a series of tweets commemorating the hallowed faux holiday of Festivus from "Seinfeld," Paul tweeted an image of one of his favored turtleneck shirts — featuring a "Rand Paul 2016" logo.
Of course, everyone has to be themselves, and I have my own style. I think this will be a popular item this year pic.twitter.com/ejuPwOAb6E

Paul, one of the most-hyped potential Republican candidates for the White House, is also up for Senate re-election in 2016.
The tweet was part of several fashion-related posts Paul dropped, all in the name of Festivus' "airing of grievances."
On to my side of the aisle...#Festivus

No matter how many times I ask @Team_Mitch, he won't let me borrow this awesome sweater vest pic.twitter.com/VACHu6RdVY

We all know having a fashion forward campaign is important to success, as @RickSantorum showed us in 2012 #Festivus pic.twitter.com/qAeGIp2wpo

This year @MotherJones named me best dressed in Washington. Of course everyone else is wearing a blue suit, so it isn't really a contest.

But Paul spared Sen. Marco Rubio from his Festivus fire, after the two had a very public spat last week in what looked like a preview of the GOP primary season to come.
Tempting to air a grievance @marcorubio again, but we've done that enough for this week. Instead I will say an early Merry Christmas.
