On February 3, For The Record posted a podcast featuring correspondent Sara Carter interviewing a journalist operating in the border region of Pakistan and Afghanistan. That journalist spoke about some of the dangers he faced and used a pseudonym on the podcast due to concerns about possible reprisals.
After that podcast was posted, that journalist began receiving direct threats.
Out of concern for that individual's safety, For The Record has removed that podcast from our account.
