Pence Left Off RNC Speakers List, Fueling More VP Speculation Ahead of Friday Announcement
July 14, 2016
"...all previously named by Trump as part of his final four vice presidential possibilities ..."
Presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump is set to announce his running mate at 11 a.m. Friday from Trump Tower in New York City.
However, after an initial list of speakers from the upcoming GOP convention was released Thursday morning, speculation began swirling that one name missing from the list had just become the favorite to be Trump's vice presidential pick.

Former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich, New Jersey Governor Chris Christie and Senator Jeff Sessions — all previously named by Trump as part of his final four vice presidential possibilities — are listed as speakers at the convention. Pence is not.
The list also includes five members of the Trump family, six senators and seven Congressmen.
Of course, the list of speakers can always be changed.
