Here's what Sarah Palin said about her stalker being hunted by feds for new threats

A 27-year-old man previously accused by Sarah Palin of stalking her and her family is now being sought by federal law enforcement officials for new threats he made against President Donald Trump.

"It’s been a hellish ride with these stalkers..."

Palin acknowledged that the Pennsylvania man being hunted by police was the same man she obtained restraining orders against in 2010.

"This is one of the stalkers who has tormented my family for years," Palin said in a post on Facebook Monday.

"Threatening my kids and my parents," she explained, "following my daughters, moving to Alaska, then following Bristol to Texas to more aggressively physically invade and intimidate... it’s been a hellish ride with these stalkers... as we’ve informed the FBI and law enforcement for years."

"Finally, perhaps, in this particular case with one of the stalkers - Shawn Christy (having recently threatened the President) justice may prevail," the former vice presidential candidate concluded.

In 2012, Christy and his father were sentenced to five years of probation for threatening calls they made to Palin's attorney, his colleagues, and his relatives.

In June, Christy was sought by law enforcement over threats he made against President Trump, but he fled and escaped. A man matching his description stole a van very soon after.

Kentucky police also believe Christy broke into the home of Medal of Honor recipient Dakota Meyer, and the home of his brother, Timothy Gilliam. They allege that he stole Gilliam's jeep. Meyer had been married to Bristol Palin, Sarah Palin's daughter, but they divorced after having two children together.

Christy is accused of stealing weapons and ammunition from a relative, and law enforcement officials say he is armed and dangerous and should not be approached by the public if he's recognized.
