Dare you not to choke up a little bit

A plane full of Gold Star families received a heartwarming send-off to an all-expenses paid trip to Disney World on Saturday.

What are the details?

Facebook user Jen Tringale shared a moving video to Facebook on Saturday, revealing that she entered a concourse at the Nashville International Airport and saw that American Airlines was flying a plane full of families to Disney World — families who had lost an immediate family member while courageously serving the country.

Several soldiers were in attendance to see the families off, and a performer singing "The Star-Spangled Banner" was also featured during the emotional send-off.

Tringale captioned the video, "At the Nashville airport I walked out into the concourse to this scene @americanairlines was flying a plane full of children who had lost a parent in combat to Disneyworld on an all expenses paid trip and they threw a party for them at the gate."

"But when they announced them over the loud speaker and they lined up to board the plane the whole airport literally stopped and sang the national anthem with military present in salute," she continued. "Most every person standing around, myself included was bawling at the sight of these kids and spouses who have paid so great a price for our country. To see all of this at Christmas time was so humbling."

Tringale concluded, "Seeing the general public in an airport stand still to honor these kids was simply beautiful."

At the time of this writing, Tringale's post has been viewed over 400,000 times and has been shared more than 8,000 times on Facebook.
