Hillary Clinton loudly declares she's 'never even been tempted' to have lesbian affair — and that angers 'proud lesbian' writer

'Never, never, never!'

Former Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton loudly declared to radio shock jock Howard Stern that — contrary to numerous, longstanding rumors — she's "never even been tempted" to have a lesbian affair and that "I actually like men."

Clinton also told Stern during Wednesday's interview that her pre-Bill Clinton boyfriend was "really handsome" and resembled a "Greek god," NBC News reported.

Upon hearing Clinton say she likes men, Stern pushed for more information.

"Raise your right hand," he told the former U.S. Secretary of State and first lady. "You've never had a lesbian affair?"

Amid laughter, Clinton answered with a loud denial: "Never, never, never! Never even been tempted, thank you very much."

But in the aftermath, a writer who has described herself as a "proud lesbian," said she was "disappointed" with Clinton's words and tone, NBC News said.

"It's so frustrating when public figures like Hillary feel the need to dispel lesbian rumors in a way that equates lesbianism or queerness with salaciousness, and that's ultimately what I dislike about the way she phrased it. Specifically the word 'tempted,'" Trish Bendix — a member of the National Lesbian and Gay Journalists Association — told the network. "I think there's a way to refute untrue ideas about one's own identity without saying something damaging to others."

Anything else?

During an October interview, Clinton reportedly seemed "uneasy" about the notion among the pro-transgender crowd that biological males — even those still sporting beards and penises — can be women, which preceded daughter Chelsea replying affirmatively regarding the issue.

"Errr. I'm just learning about this," Hillary Clinton answered, the Daily Mail said. "It's a very big generational discussion, because this is not something I grew up with or ever saw. It's going to take a lot more time and effort to understand what it means to be defining yourself differently."

Clinton added: "I think you've got to be sensitive to how difficult this is. There are women who'd say [to a trans woman], 'You know what, you've never had the kind of life experiences that I've had. So I respect who you are, but don't tell me you're the same as me.' I hear that conversation all the time."

Her position was "disappointing" to Alliance for Justice Press Secretary Zach Ford — a self-described "queer, atheist, proud SJW" — who tweeted that people need to "call it out for the transphobia it is."
