A Texan reports neighbors engaging in heroism during Harvey -- here's what the media isn't showing

As the water continues to rise in East Texas after the devastation of Tropical Storm Harvey, neighbors are helping neighbors. Clash Daily’s Doug Giles, who lives in Austin, Texas, has observed fellow Texans of all races, creeds, and faiths assisting each other.

He said on today’s “Chris Salcedo Show” that this is typical behavior for Texans, which flies in the face of the narrative the mainstream media presents of America, he told Chris Salcedo. Anyone with a boat, including his duck hunting buddy, is offering aid with “nothing but love – sacrifice,” he said.

He reports that he has not seen Antifa or Black Lives Matter -- self-styled defenders of oppressed races and peoples -- come to Texas to help anyone. He said he’s even “scoured the bowels of the internet, and there is nary a peep.”

He noted that cable news is generally talking more “about global warming instead of these heroic acts.” He said, “There is so much good news in this horrible, horrible bad news, and it’s coming from every sector.” He credits rich, poor, black, white, Hispanic, and even President Donald Trump for being “hands on deck.”
