Israeli ambassador has 'full confidence' despite what anonymous sources say
May 16, 2017
Today on "The Chris Salcedo Show," Chris Salcedo examined all of the statements coming in from Israeli officials, both named and unnamed, after President Donald Trump was accused of sharing their classified information with Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak and Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov on Monday.
Buzzfeed reported that two anonymous Israeli intelligence officials confirmed the information in question came from Israel. They told the popular entertainment site that they were alarmed it was not shared with Russia via the methods to which they are accustomed, saying "There are situations where this is necessary. But there is always coordination. ... That is just good practice and manners."
The Israeli ambassador to the United States, Ron Dermer, took a different tone in a statement to the New York Times. He said, "Israel has full confidence in our intelligence-sharing relationship with the United States and looks forward to deepening that relationship in the years ahead under President Trump."
The White House continues to assert that no classified information was shared with the Russians.
