Listen: Oregon man charged over terrorism false alarm – and that’s not the craziest part
February 05, 2018
He couldn’t have just been a wedding crasher?
An Oregon man has pleaded guilty to calling airports to say that his father and brother were terrorists after they were invited to a wedding and he wasn’t. Both men were detained and questioned at the airport, and the brother missed his flight.
Sonny Donnie Smith, 38, faces up to two years in prison and a $250,000 fine for the false alarm, the Associated Press reported.
Doc talked about this odd crime story on today's show.
