Republican division continues, despite Trump's electoral victory

TheBlaze host Doc Thompson call in to "Pure Opelka" to share his thoughts on the contentiousness of the election and the division apparent in the Republican Party. Doc was disappointed to be targeted with so many vicious attacks from fellow conservatives in the wake of his third-party vote.

"I can't support Trump because, as my audience knows for decades, I vote on principle and value and track record. That's what I do," Doc says. "But to hear these people attack me was quite disheartening. And I didn't attack them. I get why you did (vote for Trump). It's frustrating for me, but I get it."

Mike Opelka sees a silver lining in the political in-fighting: "I guess that's a good sign, Doc, because that means people are engaged and involved. And I'd rather have the engagement than the apathy."

To see more from Mike, visit his channel on TheBlaze  and listen live to “Pure Opelka” weekdays 7–10pm ET & Saturdays 6–9am ET on TheBlaze Radio Network.
