Yaron Brook: This is what makes a real American -- it's not what you think

In this episode of  his show, Yaron Brook gives some info that could cause anyone to question...am I a real American?

According to Yaron, what makes a person a "real American" is the idea of individualism, the idea that you treat people a certain way based on their individual character -- not based on where they were born. Though you may have a passport showing US citizenship or a voter's registration card, you are not really an American philosophically, ideologically, or morally.

"America was a melting pot, people came here from everywhere and they melted not into a collective, they melted into an idea. They either adopted that idea or they failed, and that idea was individualism," asserted Yaron. He went on to add, "If you don't believe that, you're not an American ... you are what's destroying this country. You are what is sinking this country. And the fact that you were born here accidentally makes you nothing. It gives you nothing."
