Radio station that banned 'Baby, It's Cold Outside' has added the tune back into its song rotation

Pat Gray Unleashed

Publicity stunt?

Friday, on "Pat Gray Unleashed," Pat discussed Frank Loesser's 1944 classic "Baby, It's Cold Outside," featured in the 1949 musical romantic comedy, "Neptune's Daughter," to highlight both the first time the song was played in a feature film and the innocence behind the lyrics. The debate over the lyrics is especially interesting compared to contemporary rap lyrics that often go unquestioned.

A Cleveland-based radio station, WDOK-FM, which had originally banned "Baby Its Cold Outside," has since added the tune back in its song rotation, a decision that Pat said may have well been a publicity stunt and nothing more.
