Kanye West raises important questions during an interview with TMZ about politics in Hollywood

On Monday's episode of "The Morning Blaze," Jason Butrill and Kris Cruz discussed an interview Kanye West had with TMZ host Harvey Levin.

During the interview, Levin asked West if he would remove his "Make America Great Again" hat.

"I would love it, Kanye, if you would not wear that hat. I have a problem with what it stands for," Levin said. Levin said that he has a right to discuss his dislike for what MAGA represents.

"So fair it to say, the hat does not represent your support of Donald Trump?" Levin inquired.

"First of all, I am American and I support and give my support and ideas and brilliance to whoever ends up in office. That's my stance as an American," West replied after a long pause.

"I support our president bottom line, no matter who they are," West asserted.

Butrill and Cruz agreed that West is a promoter first and goes against the grain for publicity, but he brings to light some very real questions about the state of politics in Hollywood culture.
