Schwarzenegger used private jet for daily commutes-- now he wants to sue oil companies
March 13, 2018
You read that right. The former jet-setting governor of California who used a private plane daily to commute from Sacramento to Santa Monica has intentions to sue big oil companies for "knowingly killing people all over the world."
Schwarzenegger revealed his intentions in Austin, Texas, at the annual SXSW festival that runs through the month of March. He claimed oil is "no different from the smoking issue" in a podcast with Politico.
“The tobacco industry knew for years and years and years and decades that smoking would harm people, would kill people and create cancer, and were hiding that fact from the people and denied it. Then eventually they were taken to court and had to pay hundreds of billions of dollars because of that.”
Pat found the governor's statements to be absolutely ludicrous and called out Schwarzenegger's blatant hypocrisy when it comes to the environment.
