WATCH: Hillary Clinton predicted to run in 2020 presidential election - 'until the last dog dies

Pat Gray discussed a piece that was recently published in the "Wall Street Journal," that predicted yet another presidential run for twice-failed candidate Hillary Clinton  on Monday's episode of  "Pat Gray Unleashed."

According to the Wall Street Journal, Clinton will reemerge in 2020 as a new and "better" version of her progressive self.  The article uses the phrase "liberal firebrand" to describe what is expected out of Clinton as a candidate.

An examination of Hillary's Political career

Hillary 2.0

Hillary began her political career in 1999, when she ran for Senator in the state of New York.  It was at that time when Clinton won the "heart and soul" of her constituents when she ran on a platform that was more conservative than liberal, which included support for:

  • A balanced budget
  • The death penalty
  • Incremental health care reform
  • Traditional marriage (a fundamental principle of Clinton's)

Clinton was "reelected easily" in 2006 but her insatiable appetite wouldn't allow her to serve her state as a U.S. Senator beyond her second term.

During her bid for president in 2008, Hillary stayed true to her centrist positions and focused on social and cultural issues that ultimately proved inadequate to defeat then Sen. Barack Obama in the Democratic primary.

Obama's anti-war rhetoric garnered the attention of both donors and voters the like in the State of New York as well as Arkansas.

Clinton served as Secretary of State during President Barack Obama's first term a performance that created controversy and bred distrust in the system among voters nationwide, especially with her handling of the attack on the U.S. diplomatic compound in Benghazi, Libya.

Hillary 3.0

When Hillary ran against Donald Trump, she catered to the elites — a group that had previously abandoned her for Obama — but she missed the mark again because when she lost touch with the heart and soul of the working class.

Instead of speaking to the blue-collar demographic, Hillary was talking about same-sex marriage and health care, and completely abandoned everything she had previously stood for.

Hillary 4.0

According to the Wall Street Journal, Hillary 4.0 is expected to be a partisan, left-leaning warrior of a candidate who is willing to go after Donald Trump.

The article predicted that Hillary will "trounce" all other rising stars in the Democrat party including Joe Biden.

The article in the Wall Street Journal told readers to disregard Hillary's claim that she won't be running in the 2020 presidential election.

Pat, meanwhile, predicted that someone like Beto O'Rourke will take Trump on in the 2020 presidential election.
