Barney Frank DNC Remarks Moved From Wednesday to Thursday

Democratic Party officials have confirmed that remarks from retiring Massachusetts Rep. Barney Frank at the Democratic National Convetion that had been scheduled for Wednesday's 8pm hour, have been moved to Thursday night. A Democratic Party official told The Washington Post that Rep. Frank was cut from Wednesday's schedule and moved to the next night "because applause has made the program run a little long."

The move will place Rep. Frank on the same speaking night as fellow openly gay member of the House, Rep. Tammy Baldwin, who is also running to represent Wisconsin in the U.S. Senate. The official Twitter account of the DNC had tweeted around 9pm "Rep. Barney Frank is rallying the crowd about#AmericansComingTogether for the #LGBT community. "
