This week on his TV show, Glenn Beck has been back at the chalkboard describing eight categories of topics he believes will be important to watch in 2019, rather than the trends and taglines you'll get from the mainstream media.

"I would like to propose a partnership with you," he said, addressing the audience. "I'm going to lay out, not small pictures, I want to lay out the big picture. I want to lay out these [eight] things ... the things that will actually affect you."

Here are the eight categories:

Money: Employment, BMI, debt/default, spending, bank scandals, tech traps, banking regulations.

Education: Jobs of the future, education alternatives/ home/ online, entrepreneurship, parenting, testing.

Medicine: Socialized or free market, ideas for cheaper health care, high-tech health care, insurance and tech, medical AI, eldercare.

Technology: AI/AGI/ASI, surveillance, game-changers, self-driving cars, robotics, trucking, entertainment, sex.

Media: Old vs. new, social media, collapsing media revenue, misinformation vs, disinformation, de-platforming.

"The United Corporations of America": Google, Facebook, Amazon, Apple, Microsoft.

Civility/ Chaos: civil unrest, war, riots and protests, migrants, Brexit, caliphate/Iran, the "unheard," faith, religion, charity, "goodness index."

Politics of meaning: Axis vs. Allied, national/global, free market vs. socialism, freedom, nation of man vs.
