"Louder with Crowder" host Steven Crowder was joined by THE Dave Rubin who described his own encounter with Carlos "Gaywonk" Maza.

Who is Carlos 'Gaywonk' Maza?

As TheBlaze reported, "After admitting on Tuesday that conservative comedian Steven Crowder had not violated its community standards, YouTube announced Wednesday it would strip his videos of monetization, which keeps him from earning income from ads on his content."

After YouTube decided that no action needed to be taken, Maza kept pushing until the online platform decided to demonetize Crowder's channel.

"We came to this decision because a pattern of egregious actions has harmed the broader community and is against our YouTube Partner Program policies," the online video company later stated.

In this clip, Rubin explained that while he did not care about a person's gender identity or ethnicity, he did care about what a person did with their life. In the case of Vox's Carlos Maza —the man behind YouTube's decision that came down on Wednesday to demonetize Crowders channel—is the same guy that caused a similar issue for Rubin a couple of weeks prior.

What did Rubin say?

Rubin explained that he reached out to Democratic presidential candidate Pete Buttigieg on Twitter and asked him if he would be a guest on his show. According to Rubin, Buttigieg's "PR guy" responded immediately and after some back-and-forth, exchanged emails addresses and began working toward a date.

"The next thing you know, this guy [Maza] along with a Huffington Post journalist and President/CEO of Media Matters all jump in and start attacking Mayor Pete so that he won't do my show, and then they just stop responding to me," Rubin said.

"What was their reasoning?" Crowder asked.

"Well, I'm a scary dude," Rubin replied.

Rubin explained that he was being attacked due to his fair treatment of his guests regardless of their personal beliefs. He added that he found it interesting that Maza's Twitter bio stated that "Tucker Carlson is a white supremacist," a detail that in Rubin's identified as the same type of behavior Maza reported Crowder for exhibiting. .
