Crybaby news media reporters have gotten a 'distressing' T-shirt removed from sale at Bloomingdale's

Bloomingdale's will remove an offensive — "offensive" — T-shirt after several social media users called out the longtime retailer for its insensitivity in selling such an item.

The T-shirt prominently displays the words, "Fake News," on the front, and the social justice warriors in question are media reporters who are very offended at the supposed slight at their sacred profession.

What are the details?

Allison Kaden, a WPIX-TV reporter, was one such Twitter user who found cause to complain to the New York City-based store.

In a now-viral tweet, Kaden wrote, "Hey @Bloomingdales, this isn't funny or fashionable. It further delegitimizes hard working journalists who bring REAL news to their communties [sic].

At the time of this writing, Kaden's tweet has been liked over 8,000 times.

Bloomingdale's replied to Kaden's tweet with a message promising to remove the T-shirt from its inventory.

The message read, "Thank you for bringing this to our attention and we apologize for any offense we may have caused. We take this feedback very seriously and are working quickly to remove this t-shirt. Again, thank you for taking the time to alert us."

A Bloomingdale's spokesperson also told The Hill, "It was recently brought to our attention that we were offering a t-shirt in a few of our stores that was offensive to some. We appreciate this feedback and take it very seriously. The item was immediately removed from our selling floor and we apologize to anyone who found this t-shirt distressing."

Wasn't the apology enough?

This was not enough for some, including the Baltimore Sun's Pamela Wood, who certainly seemed to have a high opinion of her importance to the very idea of democracy itself:
