Controversy
UPDATE: Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson took to social media Friday to say that an interview that he allegedly did with the Daily Star, which was quoted across the internet earlier that day, "never took place" and that the story was "100 percent fabricated." He reminded fans that "that's not me."
In a video post on Instagram, Johnson stated:
Settin' the record straight.
The interview never happened.
Never said those words.
100% false.
If I ever had an issue with someone, a group, community or a generation — I'd seek them out, create dialogue and do my best to understand them.
Criticizing ain't my style.
I don't cast stones and we all get to be who we are.

Settin' the record straight.
The interview never happened.

100% false.
If I ever had an issue with someone, a group, community or a generation — I'd seek them… https://t.co/oJdpmfsyCi
