The overturning of Roe v. Wade didn’t just prompt leftist maniacs to take to the streets in protest, but it also prompted them to target pregnancy centers across the country with vandalism and vitriol.
Self-identified Native American Elizabeth Warren undoubtedly egged this on when she called the centers that take care of pregnant women “dangerous” simply because they offer alternatives to one of the left’s favorite pastimes: abortion.
So, Allie Beth Stuckey sat down with Leanne Jamieson, executive director of Prestonwood Pregnancy Center, to set the record straight.
Leanne explains that these are simply centers where women come to be loved, served, and given actual choices that Planned Parenthood would never present.
And truly, these women are loved — not “manipulated” as critics like Warren have alleged.
Leanne goes on to tell a story about one of her clients who was going into labor. She didn’t know who to call to be with her as she gave birth — so she called Leanne. However, when she went to the hospital, she was sent away.
It turned out she was in false labor. The nurse noticed she had shown up without a car seat, so she told her that when she did give birth, she needed to make sure she had one with her.
The woman could not afford one and cried the entire way home.
Leanne then — like the “dangerous” pregnancy center devotee she is — showed up on her doorstep with a car seat.
The woman again burst into tears.
If that sounds “dangerous” to you, then you might need to get your head checked.
Or at the very least, look up what the definition of dangerous actually is.
