Former AOC staffer says that capitalism is becoming more 'fringe' than democratic socialism
April 01, 2019
AOC has a solution to the cow flatulence 'problem'
On Monday, Pat Gray and Keith Malinak highlighted Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), and comments she made about climate change during Friday's Town Hall hosted by MSNBC's Chris Hayes.
During the town hall, Ocasio-Cortez suggested that people should not worry about the $93 trillion price tag for her Green New Deal.
"How about we start by rebuilding Flint. Let's just start," Ocasio-Cortez said.
Pat reminded his audience that the Flint, Michigan, water crisis, referenced by the freshman senator, had nothing to do with climate change. For more information about the Flint water crisis, click here.
In this clip, Ocasio-Cortez offered a few so-called "solutions" to fix the methane gas "problem" — methane gas that is emitted from cows when flatulence occurs.

While Ocasio-Cortez stopped short of suggesting the genocide of cows, she did suggest that cows should be fed different food.
Toward the end of the clip, Waleed Shahid, who worked on her campaign, told MSNBC that Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) "opened the door for debate about democratic socialism.
"It's not as fringe as we might think, In fact, what's actually becoming fringe is if you call yourself a capitalist publicly," Shahid said.
Pat asserted that if Shahid's comments do not send chills down your spine, then nothing will.
