Here's the convoluted journey from Russian informants to Trump Jr.'s emails
July 11, 2017
Donald Trump Jr. released emails with music promoter Rob Goldstone today after the New York Times reported that he met with Russian attorney Natalia Veselnitskaya. The meeting, which he said was about adoptions in Russia, seems from the emails an opportunity to receive information incriminating opposing candidate Hillary Clinton in her own dealings with Russia.
Glenn Beck needed the whole surface of the chalkboard to go through the timeline of all the players and connections with the Think Tank on today's "Glenn." From co-judges of the Miss Universe pageant to oligarchs to music promoters to the equivalent of the attorney general of Russia, Glenn broke down the convoluted threads.
Glenn believed it would have been in Trump Jr.'s best interest to turn down the meeting, or turn it into a sting operation. Instead, he replied to the offer, "I love it." Then it appears he and Paul Manafort met with Veselnitskaya, but as the timeline illustrates, it appears that WikiLeaks scooped them.
