Watch: This Black Hawk pilot turned country singer is now the voice of professional bull riding
February 22, 2018
Professional bull-riding is a pro sport with an all-star league and plenty of action to get fans excited.
Ryan Weaver, a former Black Hawk helicopter pilot turned country singer, is now the new voice of PBR (Professional Bull Riders). He and pro bull rider Edgar Durazo joined the guys in the studio today to talk about the upcoming Iron Cowboy event, the rules of the sport and why sometimes you’ll root for the rider and sometimes for the bull.
"It's only bulls, it's a show, it's pyrotechnics," Weaver described PBR. "It's like a WWE event where people can actually, really, genuinely get hurt by a car that's trying to buck 'em off and run 'em over."
PBR's Iron Cowboy event takes place this Saturday. The top 40 riders in the world will face off to win $250,000.
