Actresses Emma Stone and Dakota Johnson offered a show of support for Planned Parenthood, the nation’s largest abortion provider, during the 89th Academy Awards on Sunday evening.

Stone, who won Best Actress for her role in the film “La La Land,” donned a gold pin showing the Planned Parenthood logo on her gold dress.

Planned Parenthood thanked Stone for her support on Twitter.

Johnson, who starred in "Fifty Shades Of Grey," placed a similar pin on her clutch.

Among numerous political statements made at the Oscars on Sunday evening, some celebrities wore blue ribbons in support of the American Civil Liberties Union.

The actresses’ show of support for Planned Parenthood comes as the organization defends its federal funding. Republican lawmakers have indicated that they will seek to redirect funds currently granted to Planned Parenthood to community health centers instead.
