Trump buckled at the knees on immigration reform in ‘worst day of his presidency’

Trump seemed more than willing to bend on the very issues that got him elected in the first place in a meeting with lawmakers on Tuesday regarding immigration reform.

As he sat with members of Congress in the White House yesterday many were taken aback by his willingness to cut a deal on DACA during a televised meeting in Washington where he claimed a deal could be reached between Democrats and Republicans concerning "Dreamers."

This compromise with Democrats in exchange for funding his wall was viewed by his supporters as drastically uncharacteristic of Trump’s rhetoric on the campaign trail, and left many Trump loyalists, including Ann Coulter, feeling utterly defeated and infuriated by his sudden willingness to pander to Democrats on this issue.

CNBC reported, “Before that meeting, President Trump had been taking a hard line on the issue of the children of illegal immigrants or ‘Dreamers.’ The president had been insisting that unless the Democrats agreed to more funding for border security and the building of his famous ‘wall,’ there would be no deal on the Dreamers and the DACA policy that protects them from deportation.

But then in front of all those Democrats and the TV cameras, President Trump made the following statement:

‘I will say, when this group comes back -- hopefully with an agreement -- this group and others from the Senate, from the House, comes back with an agreement, I'm signing it.’”

On Wednesday’s episode of “Pat Gray Unleashed” Pat was unforgiving and relentless when it came to the president’s sudden change of heart and his lack of leadership on immigration reform.
