Right-wing commentator Ann Coulter was not happy with President Donald Trump's comments Tuesday on DACA, the Obama-era administrative program that safeguarded young illegal immigrants who were brought into the country as children from deportation.
Here's what she said:
Trump, flanked by Dems & open-borders GOPS, announces plan for 100% open-ended amnesty (per courts).— Ann Coulter (@Ann Coulter) 1515522240.0
Trump held a news conference where he appeared to agree to a "clean" Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals bill, meaning one without attachments such as provisions for greater immigration enforcement and a border wall.
Coulter interpreted the "border security" as an admission that there will be no border wall built.
"But don't worry!" Coulter tweeted. "There will be 'border security'! (Political euphemism for: You're not getting wall.)"
"This DACA lovefest confirms a main thesis of Michael Wolff's book: When Bannon left. liberal Dems Jared, Ivanka, Cohn & Goldman Sachs took over," she explained, referring to the controversial book, "Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House," about the inner workings of the Trump administration.

"After agreeing with [Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.)] that stand-alone DACA will come FIRST, Trump's muscle memory kicks in & he cites Israel, saying NOTHING BUT A WALL WILL WORK," she added.

In the meeting Tuesday at the White House, Trump appeared to agree to Sen. Feinstein's proposal of a "clean" DACA bill, before Rep. Kevin McCarthy interrupted to explain that this was not the Republican position.
Trump later reiterated that a border wall was absolutely necessary for immigration negotiations:
As I made very clear today, our country needs the security of the Wall on the Southern Border, which must be part of any DACA approval.— Donald J. Trump (@Donald J. Trump) 1515543417.0
"As I made very clear today," he tweeted, "our country needs the security of the Wall on the Southern Border, which must be part of any DACA approval."
Coulter appeared on Lou Dobbs' show and called this the "lowest day in Trump's presidency."

Coulter said that Trump confirmed everything in the Wolff book with the meeting on immigration.
