Up to a million deaths in the first hours': Here's how a war with North Korea would likely unfold

Glenn Beck brings out the chalkboard to discuss what a showdown with North Korea will look like if things continue to escalate. According to the Washington Post, the communist regime now has as many as 60 nuclear weapons and has successfully produced a miniaturized nuclear warhead that can fit inside its missiles. Jason Buttrill, former intelligence analyst and TheBlaze contributor explained:

“We think that they have eight nukes – it’s anywhere between five and 12 that I’ve heard. So, I think they’ve just kind of split the difference and said eight. They really don’t know. There’s a black hole of intelligence there. But let’s say they have eight. Now, we’re not exactly sure if they have the capability to mount them on an ICBM. That’s why that is definitively the red line. So, if they do this next test that you were just talking about, if they do that next test and we have the intelligence that says ‘it’s miniaturized enough and they can place those on an ICBM,’ that’s when that could kick a lot of this stuff off.”

He went on to explain how North Korea’s nuclear program has become a thorn in everyone’s side and how quickly the program has advanced in such a short time.

“Since they’ve started their nuclear program, it’s really just been about a program. They’ve never actually had the, or it didn’t appear, that they ever had the intention to use the weapons. Well, a lot of that has changed now,” said Buttrill.
