Bob Corker is trying to save the Iran deal and Mark Levin is having none of it
January 10, 2018
“He is the WORST of the worst.”
CRTV host Mark Levin began his Wednesday evening national radio program by taking outgoing Senator Bob Corker, R-Tenn., to task over his current efforts to save the Iran nuclear deal.
Levin pointed to a story from the Washington Free Beacon which said that White House officials and Corker are working diligently behind the scenes to save and preserve the Iran deal despite opposition from congressional conservatives.
The story reports that Corker is working on legislation with Senate Democrats which would make it incredibly difficult for Trump or future presidents to leave the deal.
“We’re in the middle of a sellout led by Bob Corker, who has who has always supported this law while lying that he doesn’t,” Levin warned, reminding listeners about the Tennessee senator’s critical role in crafting and passing the widely-criticized legislation that led to implementation of the agreement in 2015.
“This is a huge problem,” Levin concluded of the situation. “It’s a growing problem.”
