Appearing on Fox & Friends Thursday morning, Conservative Review senior contributor Dan Bongino tore into the Left for pushing gun control following the massacre in Las Vegas.
“I’m really tired of this,” Bongino said. “You know, when did my rights come into question? And let me give a pro-tip to the Democrats out there: I’m really tired of your crap on this, okay?”
“Stop talking to us like we’re a bunch of gun-toting rednecks,” Bongino warned. He made the case that Democrat politicians and late-night comedians who can’t tell the barrel from the stock on a rifle shouldn’t condescend to Americans who have the right to keep firearms to defend themselves.
“I have kids too. I have two young daughters. You think it doesn’t bother me as a dad and a former law enforcement officer, the idea that me or my family could be subjected to one of these savage animals?” Bongino asked. “Why are we paying with our rights every time?”
“And Democrats lecturing us all the time, and late-night comedians with no knowledge at all, about how we’re a bunch of violent maniacs ’cause we simply want to protect our families against savages like this is a really dumb strategy to try to convince the other side,” he added.
“Wake up, let’s have a sensible argument about this,” Bongino said.
