Monday on the radio, LevinTV host Mark Levin criticized the FBI raid of longtime Trump lawyer Michael Cohen's office, decrying the "police state tactics" adopted by the FBI. According to a report from the Washington Post, Cohen is under investigation for bank fraud and possible campaign finance violations.
“I don’t know how the hell this man is supposed to be president of the United States with these police state tactics, and that’s what they are, damn it," Levin said. "They are police state tactics, and I’m sick of it.”
Listen:
Earlier in his program, Levin discussed the FBI raid with National Review contributing editor and former assistant U.S. attorney Andrew C. McCarthy. McCarthy told Levin that he's never seen a situation like this and that he suspects the FBI will argue that President Trump and his lawyer Cohen were in cahoots to pay off porn star Stormy Daniels to keep quiet about her alleged affair with Trump.
"I believe the damage Mr. Mueller and these others are doing is irreversible," Levin said. "I'm talking about the body politic."
"These are police state tactics," Levin said. “If you think this sort of thing can’t happen to you, you are dead wrong.”
