Levin: This is the evil of single-payer health care

Thursday on the radio, Conservative Review Editor-in-Chief Mark Levin told the story of Charlie Gard, a terminally ill baby whose parents were denied the right to take their baby to the U.S. for an experimental treatment by the European Court of Human Rights.

The so-called compassion of single-payer health care prohibited Charlie Gard’s parents from seeking the care that he desperately needed. Now he will die.

“Centralized planning on health care, among other things, results in rationing,” Levin said. “Rationing affects the sickest among us the worst.”

Listen:

“There’s nothing compassionate about government-run health care and rationing and waiting lists,” Levin said.

“This, ladies and gentlemen, is the future in this country. And I do not believe the Republicans are going to reverse course. I believe they're fighting over nonsense.”
