Michelle Malkin: Trump has ‘moral clarity’ on terror Obama lacked

Appearing on “Fox & Friends” Wednesday Morning, CRTV host and Conservative Review senior editor Michelle Malkin torched the leftist, politically correct responses to the Manchester terror attack we’ve seen from many political leaders, praising President Trump’s contrasting statements condemning the evil terrorists.

“I think that there’s a huge difference in how Donald Trump very immediately, with moral clarity, responded,” Malkin said, comparing President Trump’s response to the terror attacks to the “apathy” of the Obama administration in response to terror.

In a statement after the attack, President Trump called the Islamic terrorists who commit these murderous acts “evil losers in life.”

“I won’t call them monsters because they would like that term,” he said. “They would think that’s a great name. I will call them, from now on, losers, because that’s what they are. They are losers. And we will have more of them. But they are losers, just remember that.”

Malkin said that Obama’s response to terror vs. Trump’s is “moral ambiguity vs. moral clarity.”

“We do not need a midnight basketball social justice approach to terrorism,” Malkin said. “And that is the main difference that we’ve seen in the Obama administration and the Trump administration.”

Malkin also described how she teaches her kids about the truth of radical Islamic terrorism.

“It’s the only way that you’re going to inoculate kids from the same kind of wooly-headed moral equivalence thinking that helped get us into this mess in the first place,” Malkin said. “The inability to define and to pinpoint the roots of Islamic violence and Islamic imperialism that dominated – I mean when you have these refugees who are welcomed into your country and you fail at the basic goal and the basic requirement of assimilation in the country, this is what you end up with.”

And, finally, Malkin blasted pop star Katy Perry, who said, “No barriers, no borders, we all just need to co-exist” in response to the terror attack.

“Okay, let’s start and see if she is going to drop all of her bodyguards and turn off her security systems in her own home,” Malkin said. “It is just more of that sort of limousine gulfstream liberal mindset of these celebrities who just do not operate in any sense of reality.”
