Report: Mainstream media networks 'still deciding' whether to broadcast Trump's Oval Office address
According to New York Times reporter Maggie Haberman, the news networks have not yet agreed to air President Donald Trump's planned Tuesday evening Oval Office address to the nation on border security.
According to all our reporting, networks are still deciding this, have NOT agreed. White House is claiming otherwise and it isn't true. They may still end up agreeing, but haven't yet. https://t.co/QKujUlNwib

The networks are weighing options, including giving a response to Dems. But they have NOT agreed to this yet, despite POTUS claiming so. https://t.co/QKujUlNwib

Worth remembering there's a distinction between cable news nets and broadcast nets, the latter customarily being the ones called "the networks." https://t.co/QKujUlNwib

Skipping Trump's address would be a gift from the mainstream media to Trump. It would clearly show that the mainstream media does take sides and it is with the Democrats: Against Trump, against the Border Patrol officers who support a wall, and for a steady stream of illegal immigration.
