On Friday's "Pseudo Intellectual" podcast, host Lauren Chen discussed "Sticks and Stones," the new Netflix comedy special featuring two-time Emmy award winner, Dave Chappelle.
In this clip, Lauren described Chappelle as having a comedic style that was more R-rated than she preferred. However, she said "Sticks and Stones" had her laughing by the end.
According to Lauren, "Sticks and Stones" received rave reviews from 95 percent of the audience, the exception being those left-wing journalists who pushed the outrage culture narrative.
Chappelle bravely took on issues that had been rendered off-limits by those in the public arena. Issues included: "Cancel culture"; LGBTQ activism; Michael Jackson; Jussie Smollett; #MeToo, and pedophilia.
Lauren noted that conservatives had been forced to walk on eggshells from a fear of being "canceled" by left-wing influences.
According to Lauren, Chappelle was "nothing if not brave" for using humor to stand against the outrage mob.
"I can't live in the world you are trying to create," Chappelle said.
