Palin Angry Over Leaked Excerpts of New Book: 'Out of Context

"Isn't that illegal?"

Sarah Palin's new book America by Heart isn't due out until next week. But excerpts from the tome have leaked out on the internet, in which she criticizes the show "American Idol," her grandson's father, and Michelle Obama. The Obama criticism has lead at least one liberal media outlet to insinuate racism. That has momma grizzly very upset.

"In a passage on perceptions of racial inequality in the United States," the Huffington Post's Geoffery Dunn writes, "Palin slams President Barack Obama, who, she asserts, 'seems to believe' that 'America -- at least America as it currently exists -- is a fundamentally unjust and unequal country.'"

The passage referenced, from page 26 of Palin's new book, says:

Certainly his wife expressed this view when she said during the 2008 campaign that she had never felt proud of her country until her husband started winning elections. In retrospect, I guess this shouldn't surprise us, since both of them spent almost two decades in the pews of the Reverend Jeremiah Wright's church listening to his rants against America and white people.

The website Gawker also poked fun at excerpts where Palin boasts about her kids, calling the section "a Christmas letter round-up of what all her fabulous children have accomplished this year."
