NEW YORK (AP) — Sarah Palin's publisher says it has settled its lawsuit against Gawker Media.
Alleging copyright infringement, HarperCollins sued Gawker last Friday for posting leaked images from Palin's "America by Heart," which went on sale Tuesday. Gawker pulled the images over the weekend after a federal judge granted HarperCollins an injunction pending a Nov. 30 hearing.
According to the publisher, which had sought financial damages, Gawker has agreed to keep the images off of its website. HarperCollins declined to give details of the settlement.
Gawker did not immediately respond to phone and e-mail requests for comment late Tuesday.
