Michael Moore is finally concerned about his public image. His physical image, that is.
According to the Daily Caller, the liberal filmmaker checked into a luxury weight loss spa in Miami recently. The royalties from his films and his frequent appearances on Keith Olbermann's show must be lining his pockets -- the spa costs $4,500 a week.
The spa, Pritikin Longevity Center and Spa, boasts “650 acres of lush tropical gardens, fountains, water features and other amenities." Moore reportedly checked-in in mid-November. It is Moore's second stint at the facility. His previous visit left him 30 pounds lighter.
“He didn’t look like he wanted to talk," a source told the Daily Caller. "And neither did I. But he sure was fat, even fatter than he looks on TV, like he’d gained a hundred pounds."
Despite enjoying the spoils of capitalism at a privately-owned spa, Moore reportedly appeared on Olbermann's show while at the facility in Miami. A background from a November 22 appearance shows a flipped Miami skyline.
