Acting "erratically."
Earlier this week, we showed you how police officers in Colorado peppered sprayed an 8-year-old who was threatening teachers with a weapon. Today we show you an officer in Texas pepper spraying something else wild -- a tiny squirrel.
A school resource officer in Mesquite, TX is under heavy scrutiny today after students caught him on video spraying the little creature. The students can be heard in the background screaming for him not to. He did anyway:
A police department spokeswoman says the squirrel was behaving erratically before the video begins, and the officer was simply trying to protect the students. Some students say it was too much.
