Looking a bit more like "The View" than "Morning Joe," MSNBC's early-morning news/opinion program spent considerable time tearing down Newt Gingrich's Presidential dream.
Mika Brzezinski, BBC's Katty Kay, Peggy Noonan, and Nora O'Donnell are seen "klatching" it up:
But wait, there's more. . .
The group plus "Joe" regulars Mike Barnicle and Willie Geist went on to handicap Newt's chances. This piece ends with Mr. Barnicle referring to Gingrich as a "delusional loser." (You should also note that Mika's blackberry, the one that receives messages from the White House, is audibly pinging so often during the first minute of the clip, she is forced to acknowledge it and turn it off.)
And then it got really bizarre. Watch as Mika directs her "class" in a bizarre role-playing segment where she orders the panel, plus Sam Stein, to act as Newt's spokesperson and sell the group on Newt 2012. And she grades their performance!
(Noe: the still frame is the same, this is a continuation of the previous clip)
