Herman Cain Cracks Anita Hill Joke: Is She 'Going to Endorse Me?

"You hear the latest news today?"

It's no secret that Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain has had an intense couple of weeks. Following allegations that he sexually harassed numerous women, the successful businessman showed on Thursday that, despite the political drama, he still has a sense of humor.

At a meet-and-greet event in Michigan, a man in the audience brought up a well-known name in American politic scandals -- Anita Hill (the woman who famously accused Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas of sexual harassment 20 years ago).

In a video clip, the man can be heard asking Cain a question, although it is somewhat muffled. He says, "You hear the latest news today? Anita Hill is going to come..."

The rest of his words are unintelligible, but what's most notable is Cain's response. After doubling over in laughter, the presidential contendor quips, "Is she going to endorse me?" (the "she" being Hill). Laughter ensued, as the audience clearly found the off-the-cuff statement entertaining to say the least.
