Bill Clinton to O'Reilly: Yes, the Press Favored Obama in 2008

"Oh I think yes."

Former President Bill Clinton said he thinks the media favored Barack Obama over his wife Hillary when the two were competing during the 2008 campaign, he revealed to Fox News host Bill O'Reilly in an interview set to air Tuesday.

"When your wife was running against Barack Obama in New Hampshire, and this must bring back memories to you, the press favored Obama, correct?" O'Reilly asked, according to a preview of the interview posted online.

"Oh I think yes," Clinton answered.

But when O'Reilly asked whether Clinton thinks the press is likely to favor Obama over the eventual GOP candidate, Clinton was less emphatic.

"We'll just have to wait and see," Clinton said.

"You know the answer is yes," O'Reilly pressed.

In the same clip, Clinton had high praise for GOP candidate and former Utah Gov. Jon Huntsman, saying he "arguably has the most consistently conservative economic record of anybody running."
